Beside loving this jewelry piece, I also fell in love with the story behind it.
The Toi et Moi Serpent Bohème ring by Boucheron is inspired by the hopeless romantic Fréderinc Boucheron’s gift to his wife.

In 1888, on the eve of one of his many trips around the world, Frédéric Boucheron offered his wife Gabrielle a snake-shaped necklace, token of love, protection and happiness.
The protective animal watched over her when her husband was absent and was a promise of a happy life. The serpent gracefully protected Gabrielle’s neck in a style that would become iconic to the house. In 1968, the first Serpent collection comes to life and has never left the collections of the House of Boucheron ever since.

This beautiful ring,  the heads of the snakes cross to symbolize the eternal bind between two lovers,  is a classy timeless piece in yellow or white gold with a special textured surface that mimics the scales snake skins.
This beauty is a piece which most definitely stands out.
