Jewel Lover : Liz Kantner

Today is a start of something new. A new something which will be named ‘Jewel Lovers’. The name says everything by itself. With Jewel Lovers I will let you discover what other people (can be anyone, even you) love about jewelry and most of all, what their favorite piece is.
Liz Kantner is the lucky gal to be the first Jewel Lover to be introduced to you.  Liz is a jewelry obsessed marketing and communications specialist. She is an East Coast transplant residing in Denver, CO and working at Todd Reed Inc. Besides that she also runs her own jewelry blog. Yep, a real passionate!
Her passion for jewelry and style comes from her Grandmother who was a fashion designer and fellow lover of gold. Besides jewelry, Liz also adores her two pups, a corgi and a dachshund. Can’t blame her!

Liz’s favorites:

Collette Ishiyama: “I have both a necklace and earrings from this designer. The earrings are from her newest collection and are my current favorites. Brass + onyx! Simple and minimal yet they make a statement. Her work is very much art deco inspired which I love.”
I totally understand Liz, I have a necklace by Collette Ishiyama on my wishlist.

Polly Wales: “The teeny, tiny pendant is my very favorite necklace. I never take it off. Polly is a true artist and such a talented designer. I feel honored to own one of her designs. Next on my list is one of her thick bands with white sapphires.”

Todd Reed: “My Todd Reed rings never leave my fingers! The first one I purchased was the circle ring – it’s 18ky gold with raw diamond cubes and three white brilliants. The second was the dainty three stone ring which I had made with my mom and grandmothers diamonds. And third was an impulse buy to complete the stack. A sterling silver and 18ky gold bar ring featuring raw diamond cubes.”

Liz’s wishlist:

Communion by Joy: “Joy creates meaningful, beautiful pieces that have a very organic feel.”
I hear you Liz! I ADORE Joy’s creations as much.

–  Jerry Grant: “His pieces are exclusively sold at Steven Alan – each is one-of-a-kind and very affordable for the quality.”

Gabriella Kiss: “My very favorite designer. Her pieces are stunning and all completely handcrafted. Very high quality and detailed, yet minimal. The snake hoops are perfection and I have my eye on a very specific moonstone ring.”

Blackbird and the Snow: “Antique inspired beauties by Marie Juliette Bird. I have been dreaming about her ruby bird necklace and Moonstone rings. Amazing design and so well made.”
