Now that’s THE signet ring which made me fall in love with all signet rings. It’s THE one which got me hooked. A plain, simple and timeless design, with a personal touch to it.
The Pinky signet by J. Hannah is the perfect modern ‘resurrection’ of your dad’s or grandfather’s signet. Ladies, signets are not just for men…we can wear these too!
Jess’ Pinky signet is chunky yet classic thanks to its clean design and unique engraving.
Each ring is custom engraved by hand. Simply pick your initial!
Some background info on signet rings:
Often considered as a gentleman’s ring, the signet ring has been around since the days of the Old Testament, when it was used as a personal signature or symbol of family heritage. Typically it bore a family crest or another symbol representing an individual on its distinguishable flat bezel. A design was usually engraved (often in reverse) either directly into the metal of the ring or an inset gem, and then pressed into wax or clay to create the personal seal, or signature.
