Pear Blossom

Reinstein/Ross jewelry is designed and hand-fabricated in Manhattan since 1985. A brand which I adore for its bold but timeless rings. As this months theme on MoJ is everything wedding/engagement, I decided to go for RR Jewelry’s Pear Blossom ring. The reason for it is because of getting engaged is like blossoming (note I am not engaged myself nor married). Like flowers do.
Life with two only get better over time. Your love grows. Your love for the other one might change but it is still there. Right there in your heart, you feel it. Not only there but also your stomach. Every know and then you feel the butterflies again which is such a great feeling.
Spring and flowers are just like that in a way. After cold Winter there is that beautiful season which brightens up everything around you…just like when the person you love does.
Read below what inspired R|R for this design.

The Pear Blossom Ring is a floral presentation of a center stone, two delicate pear shaped stones and R|R signature goldwork. The character of the ring changes dramatically depending on the color of the gold and the stones used.

The Pear Blossom Ring is inspired by the form of a flower. It is a floral design that uses gold and precious stones to articulate the separates parts of the blossom. The idea of a fruit tree blossom is also wonderful, as the beautiful bloom appears prior to the tree bearing fruit. Is is a wonderful and beautiful part of the natural process.
