Today, jewel enthusiast Jennifer, is sharing with us what her favorite pieces are. Not that easy to pick one favorite!
Jennifer has loved jewelry since she was a little girl. “I remember my grandmother getting me a beautiful little white sapphire ring for my birthday when I was about 7 years old. I was blown away that sapphires came in different colors!” She always loved jewelry and learning about different stones. She says she studies jewelry as if it were how she makes a living, although her real job is very different as she works in the entertainment industry.
As pictured above:
These three are extraordinary. The horseshoe is by my friend Jason who designs the coolest pieces for his line, Huckleberry LTD. The opal is from Elizabeth Street Jewelry. And the eagle pinky ring is by one of the best humans I know, Kathy Rose. Her store, the incredible Roseark, is my favorite place on earth, next to my house!
These are jewelry I’ve made. Sapphire briolettes, emerald beads, opals, etc. I started beading a couple of years ago and have loved making things for me and my friends.
Pieces I adore. Lots of old Indian and Turkish pieces, as well as a ring from one of my favorite designers, Karma El Khalil.
On the left you’ll find my Stormiest wraps, as well as an old Navajo bracelet that I bought from Jennifer Nicholson. I love these wraps. Each one is handmade and has special meaning. They are gorgeous and very special to me.
Jewelry of one of my favorite ladies, Beth Yorn, who designs Elisabeth Bell Jewelry.
