Are you familiar with T-bars? Also known as a toggle clasp , a T-bar has two pieces: a thick bar and a circle that fit together to secure necklaces or bracelets. You’ve probably seen plenty of vintage T-bars on social media or elsewhere online. They’re kind of unmissable in the jewelry world. I mean, they’re a classic. Subtly iconic even.
They’re either sold as pendants or found on Albert chains (originally used for pocket watches) or bracelets.
Personally, I love a pretty Albert chain. You’ll mainly find them in lengths from 14 to 16 inches.
I’ve curated a selection of stunning modern T-bar jewelry pieces (and one vintage favorite!) that make it easy to get the look. These are perfect if you’re just getting into t-bar pieces or looking to expand your collection. There are, of course, many more styles out there, but these picks are a great place to start your deep dive into the world of T-bar jewelry.
Enjoy!
