Sustainability is a real focus for Emma who is seeing a real demand from clients who want to reimagine an existing ring, repurpose a particular stone into a new ring or upcycle a number of pieces of jewelry into a new engagement ring. Emma feels that there is an increasing awareness amongst her clients of the environmental and ethical impact of having an engagement ring made ‘new’ and she wants to encourage clients to upcycle unworn, unloved jewelry into something that can be worn every day.

Emma guides her clients through every step of the bespoke process – from the initial consultation to the finished piece. From choosing the style and setting of their dream piece to selecting the stone(s). Once a stone has been selected, Emma will share a hand-drawn technical sketch for the client’s approval to ensure that every specification has been met. The approved sketch will then be sent to Emma’s Hatton Garden workshop, where the design will be brought to life by her skilled team of craftsmen.

Emma on her favorite piece she designed so far:
“Without a doubt, my favorite piece is my sister’s engagement ring – made up of inherited stones and new ones, we created a chunky but vintage design for her. G wanted something timeless but unique and original too. I think we achieved this for her with the Georgian cut-down setting and unusual size of the stones in the halo in white and yellow gold.”
